More...Day 1: Arrival in Lima
Upon your arrival in Lima, our team will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. This day is intended for rest after your journey. Meals are not included.
Day 2: Lima City Tour + Pachacamac
After breakfast, we will begin the tour at approximately 9:00 a.m. with pick-up from your hotel. We will visit the historic center of Lima, including the Plaza de Armas, where the Government Palace, Cathedral, and Archbishop’s Palace are located. You will also visit the Church and Convent of San Francisco, famous for its catacombs. Then, we will head to modern districts such as San Isidro and Miraflores, where you can enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean and the urban life of the capital. Afterwards, we will travel south to visit the Pachacamac Archaeological Sanctuary, an important pre-Inca and Inca ceremonial center where the sun and earth were worshipped. At the end of the tour, return to your hotel in Lima. Includes breakfast and lunch.
Jour 3 : Lima – Cusco + City Tour
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco (not included). Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel, where you can enjoy coca tea. You will have time to rest and adapt to the altitude; it is recommended to avoid physical effort during the first hours. In the afternoon (approx. 1:30 p.m.), we will begin the City Tour visiting the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), and archaeological sites such as Sacsayhuamán, Q’enqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay. The tour ends around 6:30 p.m. in Cusco’s city center. Includes breakfast and lunch. Optional: buffet dinner with folkloric show.
Day 4: Rafting on the Urubamba River
After breakfast, we will pick you up at approximately 8:50 a.m. to head to the camp in Cusipata. Before starting the activity, you will receive a safety briefing and all necessary equipment. Then, we will transfer to the starting point in Chuquicahuana to go rafting through class II and III rapids, ideal for beginners as well as those seeking an exciting but safe experience. The activity lasts approximately 2 hours on the river. Afterwards, we will return to the camp where you can shower and enjoy lunch. Return to Cusco in the afternoon. Includes breakfast and lunch. Optional: canopy (zip-line) over the Urubamba River.
Day 5: Start of the Inca Trail – Piscacucho to Huayllabamba
Departure from Cusco to km 82 (Piscacucho), the starting point of the Inca Trail. After registration and beginning the hike, we will walk through Andean landscapes until reaching the archaeological site of Llactapata. Then we continue to Huayllabamba, where the first campsite will be located. It is a moderate hike (approx. 5–6 hours), ideal for acclimatization before the more demanding days. Includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Overnight at campsite.
Day 6: Huayllabamba – Pacaymayo (Most demanding day)
This will be the most challenging day of the trek. We will start early ascending to Abra Warmiwañusca (4,200 m.a.s.l.), the highest point of the route. During the hike, you will pass through cloud forests and high mountain landscapes with spectacular views. Then we descend to the Pacaymayo valley, where the second campsite will be set. Includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Important: this day requires good physical condition due to altitude and duration.
Day 7: Pacaymayo – Wiñay Wayna
We will begin the hike crossing the second mountain pass (Abra Runkurakay), visiting archaeological sites such as Runkurakay and Sayacmarca. The trail continues through denser vegetation, Inca stone paths, and stunning views until reaching Wiñay Wayna, one of the most impressive archaeological complexes on the Inca Trail. This will be our final campsite before reaching Machu Picchu. Includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 8: Wiñay Wayna – Machu Picchu
Very early, we will begin the hike to Inti Punku (Sun Gate), from where you will have your first panoramic view of Machu Picchu, a unique and unforgettable experience. Then we descend to the citadel for a guided tour of the main sectors. Afterwards, we will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes where you will spend the night at a hotel. Includes breakfast.
Day 9: Machu Picchu – Cusco (Optional free day)
This day you will have the option to re-enter Machu Picchu on your own (not included), ideal for exploring at a slower pace or doing additional hikes such as Huayna Picchu. In the afternoon, return by train to Cusco and transfer to your hotel. Includes breakfast.
Day 10: Final Departure
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule. End of our services.
