The rich culture and history of the Incas: Inca history and culture are an important part of Peruvian identity. From the city of Cusco, the capital of the Inca Empire, to the ruins of Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley, Peru offers a unique insight into this ancient civilization.

Day 1: Arrival in Lima

Upon your arrival in the city of Lima, our team will be waiting for you at the airport to give you a warm welcome and transfer you comfortably to your hotel.

This first day is designed for rest and travel adaptation, ideal for relaxing after your international or domestic flight.

Day 2: City Tour in Lima + Pachacamac

After breakfast, we will begin a complete journey through the living history of Lima.

We will visit the majestic Plaza Mayor of Lima, the historic heart of the city, surrounded by important colonial buildings such as the Cathedral and the Archbishop’s Palace. We will continue to the traditional San Francisco Monastery, famous for its catacombs and impressive viceroyal architecture.

We will also explore the modern districts of San Isidro and Miraflores, where you can enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean.

Finally, we will visit the mystical archaeological sanctuary of Pachacamac, one of the most important ceremonial centers on the Peruvian coast, where ancient cultures worshipped their gods in harmony with nature.

Return to the hotel.

Day 3: Lima / Ica

We will depart early towards the city of Ica, enjoying the desert landscape of the southern coast of Peru.

Upon arrival, we will take a tour of the city center and visit the Regional Museum of Ica, where you will learn about archaeological remains from cultures such as Paracas, Nazca, and Wari.

Then we will visit a traditional winery, where you will learn about the production of Peruvian pisco and wine, with tasting included.

Finally, we will arrive at the famous Huacachina oasis, a unique landscape surrounded by dunes, palm trees, and natural waters, known as the “Oasis of America.”

Day 4: Ballestas Islands + Nazca Lines

Very early we will begin an exciting boat excursion to the Ballestas Islands, known as the “Galapagos of Peru,” where you can observe sea lions, guano birds, and the famous Candelabro geoglyph.

We will then continue to the Nazca desert, where we will take the long-awaited overflight of the mysterious lines, one of the greatest archaeological enigmas in the world.

From the air you will see figures such as the monkey, hummingbird, spider, and many more, considered an ancient pre-Inca astronomical calendar.

Overnight in Nazca.

Day 5: Nazca / Lima

In the morning we will visit the mysterious Chauchilla Cemetery, where mummies and remains of ancient desert civilizations are still preserved.

In the afternoon we will return to Lima, enjoying the coastal scenery along the way.

Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 6: Lima / Cusco + City Tour

Transfer to the airport for flight to Cusco.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel, where you will be offered a traditional coca tea to help with acclimatization.

In the afternoon, we will take a City Tour visiting Qorikancha, the ancient Temple of the Sun, and the impressive archaeological complexes of Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay.

End of the tour at the Main Square.

Day 7: Cusco – Maras & Moray

We will explore the Sacred Valley in a hiking and nature connection experience.

We will visit Moray, an ancient Inca agricultural laboratory, and the impressive Maras Salt Mines, where thousands of salt pools create a unique Andean landscape.

We will then continue to Ollantaytambo and take the train to Aguas Calientes.

Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Day 8: Aguas Calientes – Optional Experiences

Free day to explore the natural surroundings of Machu Picchu Pueblo.

You may visit the botanical garden, natural waterfalls, or go hiking such as Putukusi (depending on physical condition).

You may also relax in the hot springs or enjoy the town atmosphere.

Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Breakfast and lunch included.

Day 9: Machu Picchu + Huayna Picchu

Ascent to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, where we will take a guided tour of its main archaeological sectors.

Then you may explore Huayna Picchu or additional areas such as the Temple of the Moon or the Sun Gate, depending on availability and physical condition.

In the afternoon, return to Cusco by train.

Day 10: Cusco – South Valley

We will explore the South Valley of Cusco, a less touristy but highly historical cultural route.

We will visit Tipón, an impressive Inca hydraulic system; Pikillaqta, an ancient Wari city; and finally the church of Andahuaylillas, known as the “Sistine Chapel of the Americas” for its incredible colonial art.

Return to Cusco.

Day 11: Final Transfer

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure flight to Lima and international connection.
