Itinerary – Complete Peru (10 Days / 9 Nights)

Day 1: Arrival in Lima

Upon your arrival in the Peruvian capital, our team will warmly welcome you at the airport and then transfer you comfortably to your hotel. This day is ideal for resting after your trip or beginning to explore the surroundings on your own.

Day 2: City Tour + Gold Museum

After breakfast, we will begin a fascinating journey through the history and modernity of Lima.

We will visit the iconic Plaza de Armas of Lima, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you will appreciate its colonial architecture, the imposing Cathedral, and the Archbishop’s Palace. We will continue to the San Francisco Monastery, famous for its catacombs and impressive viceregal architecture.

Then we will explore modern districts such as San Isidro and Miraflores, where you can enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean.

Finally, we will visit the Gold Museum of Peru, which houses an impressive collection of pre-Columbian artifacts and historical weapons.

Day 3: Nazca Lines

Very early we will depart towards Nazca on a journey along the southern coast of Peru.

During the trip, you will visit the site museum and the tomb of María Reiche, the scientist who dedicated her life to studying these mysterious figures.

The most anticipated moment will be the overflight of the Nazca Lines, where from the air you will be able to observe figures such as the monkey, hummingbird, and spider, considered one of the greatest archaeological enigmas in the world.

After lunch, we will return to Lima in the late afternoon-evening.

Day 4: Lima / Cusco + City Tour

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco (not included). Upon arrival, our team will assist you and take you to your hotel, where you can acclimatize with a traditional coca tea.

In the afternoon, we will take a complete City Tour visiting Qorikancha, the ancient Inca temple dedicated to the sun, and continue to impressive archaeological complexes such as Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay.

We will finish the tour in the historic center, where you can enjoy local gastronomy.

Day 5: Sacred Valley Full Day

Today you will discover one of the most impressive landscapes in the Andes: the Sacred Valley.

We will visit the traditional Pisac market, where colors, textiles, and handicrafts reflect the living Andean culture. Then we will continue to Urubamba to enjoy a buffet lunch.

In the afternoon, we will explore Ollantaytambo, a living Inca town with stone streets and original canals. We will finish in Chinchero, known for its textile heritage and ancestral traditions.

Day 6: Machu Picchu + Overnight

We will begin the day with a transfer to the train station to embark on a panoramic journey to Aguas Calientes.

From there, we will take a bus up to the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. You will enjoy a guided tour where you will learn about its history, architecture, and mysteries.

Then you will have free time to explore this magical place at your own pace. In the afternoon, you will have lunch in the town and spend the night in Aguas Calientes.

Day 7: Machu Picchu / Cusco

After breakfast, you will have free time to continue exploring Aguas Calientes or take optional activities such as a second visit to Machu Picchu, climbing Huayna Picchu, or visiting Inti Punku.

In the afternoon, return by train to Cusco and transfer to the hotel.

Day 8: Cusco / Puerto Maldonado

Travel to the Peruvian Amazon (flight not included). Upon arrival, we will begin an adventure in the jungle navigating the Madre de Dios River to the lodge.

During the day, you will learn about the biodiversity of the area, explore natural trails, and enjoy wildlife observation such as exotic birds and macaws. At night, we will take an excursion to observe caimans in their natural habitat.

Day 9: Sandoval Lake

Very early, we will appreciate the Amazon sunrise at the lake, where you can observe giant otters, birds, and various species.

During the day, we will take jungle walks, catamaran navigation, and explore the flora and fauna of the ecosystem. You will also learn more about the importance of conserving this unique natural environment.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Day 10: Final Transfer

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight.
